Whole Grain Grub

I just got a new computer. Which gave me a chance to re-sort through old photos. Last summer, Ash and I took a little trip to Paris and Amsterdam. Lots of markets and cafes and bakeries and fooood. Here are some of the pics.

All of that for only $10 (tip and tax are always included). Love it!

I waited 5 years (since my last trip to paris) to get another one of these mini blackberry pie pastries. Dear god.

Bakeries make me happy. This was in a TRAIN STATION, mind you!

Chomp chomp. Needless to say, I gained 8 pounds. Bread, cheese, bread, cheese, bread and cheese.

Remember how there was always a section in your french textbook that had pictures of the markets to help you learn about foods. This whole market was sooo their inspiration.

Our bad for not posting anything for the last couple of weeks. Ash and I have been in Paris (and Amsterdam) eating our hearts out. We come back to the states later this week, and we will be sure to fill you in on all we have been up to…

Turkish meets Mediterranean. One of the best meals of my life. (And the waiter was cute too =)

So fresh and so clean. One of the many local fruit stands. We loaded up on melons, persimmons and grapes.

This was pure hilarity. This beef patty was all alone in this cage at a bar. So random. It looked like it was being radiated by ultra violet rays. I kinda wanted to save it too.

Man. Forget the fancy places, me and Naj loved this local diner in the hood. So cheap yet so good! We went back again and again.

This chef was making some sort of meat wrapped in a corn patty. I don’t eat meat, so I wasn’t able to try that one.
